The classrooms of Khiphinkunzi Primary School in Mtubatuba were dilapidated and overcrowded leading to a high learner to teacher ratio. This posed a risk of increase in COVID-19 transmissions and negatively impacted the learners academic peformance in school.
BTT sponsored the funding of five new classrooms through Nontu Mgabhi's project - 'Go Beyond for a Child'. The new classrooms were finally completed and ready for handover in April 2021.
